If you buy Antibodies supplied by proscience they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.
For short periods of storage (days) store at 4 grades C. For longer periods of storage, store Tgfb1 antibody at -20 grades C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
Tgfb1 antibody can be used for detection of Tgfb1 by ELISA at 1:62500. Tgfb1 antibody can be used for detection of Tgfb1 by western blot at 1.25 ug/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Tgfb1 is a multifunctional protein that control proliferation, differentiation, and other functions in many cell types. Many cells synthesize TGFB1 and essentially all of them have specific receptors for this protein. It regulates the actions of many other growth factors and determines a positive or negative direction of their effects. It plays an important role in bone remodelling. It is a potent stimulator of osteoblastic bone formation, causing chemotaxis, proliferation and differentiation in committed osteoblasts.
