TGFB1 monoclonal antibody was made against amino acids 780 - 797 of TGFB1 (Human).

Antibody advice

TGFB1 antibody can be used in ELISA, and immunohistochemistry starting at 15 - 30 ug/mL.

Keep at

Store TGFB1 antibody at 4 grades C or -20 grades C. As with all antibodies avoid freeze/thaw cycles.

Properties

If you buy Antibodies supplied by proscience they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.

Description

This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.

Gene info

TGFB is a multifunctional peptide that controls proliferation, differentiation, and other functions in many cell types. TGFB acts synergistically with TGFA in inducing transformation. It also acts as a negative autocrine growth factor. Dysregulation of TGFB activation and signaling may result in apoptosis. Many cells synthesize TGFB and almost all of them have specific receptors for this peptide. It plays an important role in bone remodeling. It is a potent stimulator of osteoblastic bone formation, causing chemotaxis, proliferation, and differentiation in committed osteoblasts.
