Antigene name

tumor necrosis factor (ligand) superfamily, member 10

Purity

This IgG1k antibody was purified on a Protein G affinity column.

Gene names

APO2L, TRAIL, Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 10, Apo-2 ligand, Apo-2L, TL2, CD253

Antigen

The monoclonal antibody was produced from a hybridoma using purified recombinant, insect cell derived, hTGFβ1.

Properties

If you buy Antibodies supplied by proscience they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.

Description

This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.

Keep at

TGFb1 lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20 grades C. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1 - 1.0 mg/mL. The antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4 grades C when reconstituted.

Antibody advice

ELISA:In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100 μL/well), a concentration of 4.0-8.0 ug/mL of this antibody will detect at least 100 pg/mL of recombinant human TGFβ1 when used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents. Western Blot:To detect hTGFβ1 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 2.0-4.0 ug/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hTGFβ1 is 2.0-4.0 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions. In a dot blot, a 1:500 dilution of this antibody exhibited complete cross reactivity with human TGFβ2 and TGFβ3 isotypes. Reduced cross reactivity was shown at a 1:1000 dilution.
